High-performance metal powder for SLM and LMD
AlMgty is the first high-performance aluminum-alloy system for additive manufacturing made by Fehrmann ALLOYS.
With our many years of competence in materials development, we are constantly expanding our portfolio of aluminum- and bronze-based alloys.
Do you need a standard powder from aluminum, bronze, nickel, titanium or steel / stainless steel? We can supply this as well in the high quality you expect from Fehrmann.
Our materials come from selected production partners and were previously subjected to a suitability test. We guarantee the excellent processability of our powders on all common plant systems. Alloys for 3D printing processes can of course be produced according to specific customer requirements.

High-speed powerboat AM37 – windscreens
The Fehrmann engineers were involved in developing windscreens for the high-speed powerboat AM37. Making use of the degree of freedom that additive manufacturing offers, a high-tensile frame was created with the maximum level of safety, able to absorb huge strain and to reduce injuries in the event of a crash.
12-cylinder engine casing for miniature aircraft
Aircraft are available in small sizes too – but even here, weight still plays a decisive role. For the production of engine casings, we chose a specially-developed high-performance aluminum alloy, designed by Fehrmann for use in SLM (Selective Laser Melting) and LMD (Laser Metal Deposition).
